As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Angela Allen brings empathy, an easygoing communication style, and a sweet sense of humor, making it easy for her to talk to patients and family members.
Dr. Allen has over 13 years of nursing experience. She received her master's degree in family nurse practitioner studies from Walden University and later attended the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner post-master's certificate program at Radford University. Most recently, Dr. Allen received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University.
She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Nurses Association/Virginia Nurses Association. Dr. Allen is also a proud U. S. Navy veteran.
